The Ancients reach out through time to collaborate
with New Mexico's Two Grey Hills jewelry designer Rick Richardson.
Many of this Albuquerque, New Mexico designer's most spectacular creations incorporate ancient Anasazi pottery shards
he's rescued from the desert dust and fashioned with sterling silver and semiprecious gemstones into jewelry of wonderful
grace and beauty.
Rick brings to his craft a deep understanding and appreciation for the Anasazi - a culture thought to have originated at around
the time of Jesus Christ. They thrived in America's Southwest for over a thousand years. Accompanying each item of pottery
shard jewelry will be a document by Rick identifying the culture that produced the original pottery and the age during which it flourished.
Each of Rick's creations is fashioned by hand by Navajo silversmiths
and no two are alike - the earrings, pendant or bracelet you choose
was made just for you in a creative collaboration that began at
least a thousand years ago.
