T.R. "Tony" Chytka is a cowboy artist who's
art reflects his life experience - he's a rural South Dakota native,
a rancher, and a former champion rodeo bull rider.
His wonderfully authentic bronzes reflect an understanding of his subjects gained firsthand as a rodeo bull rider in high school, college and as a pro,
and from spending his life in the world he portrays in his art.
A Chytka bronze is entirely the product of this fine artist's hands. From the clay model, to the final castings and patina work, he creates the entire
piece. Each bronze is cast to order so please allow approximately six weeks for delivery.
Tony's large bronze of rodeo great T.C. Holloway was recently installed in center of historic Deadwood, SD. He created four of the six large bronzes
on display in the sculpture garden at the Professional Rodeo Hall of Fame. His life-size bronze of rodeo legend Casey Tibbs was installed at the
dedication of the Casey Tibbs Foundation and Museum in St. Pierre, SD. |
